There lived to families that were great friends, in fact they were going to be married together. everybody was very happy... except for one man, Paris senior. Every day he watched them have fun, while he had no friends. all Paris did was play with dead flies from his bug collection. You could say he was the Grinch of Venice he thought that if he wasn't happy they shouldn't be either.
Paris devised a plan to end there happiness. He would first need to talk to the young Friar Lawrence about when the wedding was going to be and where. after he had gotten his information friar Lawrence said, "I will see you at the wedding."
Paris replied,"you will you most certainly will bwa ha ha ha ha!" Step one complete, now he just needed to put everything together. Second, he stole a wooden pale from the Montague's, it even has there name on it. Third and finally, he went to to the Apothecary and had his stolen pale filled with poisoned cow blood, Paris said, that it was for a wolf problem and left.
On the day of the wedding Paris was hiding on one of the large beams in the church with the blood. when the young Capulet was walking down the isle paris dropped the blood on her and then purposefully dropped the pale as well. The young female capulet died almost instantly, then one of her family members found the pale with the Montague's crest. Hysterical and not willing to reason the Capulets started screaming and pointing fingers, they have hated each other ever sense.

Vows
Friar: Romeo do you take Juliet as your wife, for your strong passion and to end your families murderous feud.
Romeo: I do, I also promise to be by your side. I will love you for eternity even after death whenever that may be. *Cough! Cough!* My love will never die my passion will never decease I will always be with you in some shape or form.
Friar: Juliet do you take Romeo as your husband, for your strong passion and to end your families murderous feud.
Juliet: I do, I would also like to say. Even though my father and mother want me to marry Paris, but I will not. I will marry you because I love you and there is only enough room in my heart for you Romeo. Hopefully our love filled marriage will end our families feud, and if it doesn’t I will still love you forever. As you have said we will be eternally intertwined with love even after death.
Friar: By the powers vested in me by the church, and by god I pronounce you husband and wife.

Romeo & Juliet Journal Entry #1
After the scuffle between Samson and Gregory I went around and asked a thew bystanders what they thought. First I asked a merchant, who wanted his identity to be kept a secret.
"I think that they can go hate each other some where else. every time one of them start a fight I always end up getting a sword through some of my water melons causing me to loose money. Maybe I should join there feud, because I have a bone to pick with both of them."
He is certainly right there not just hurting each other there also hurting the innocent people doing there business when the brawl broke out. I also wanted to hear the opinion of someone else like a local musician De Faglio.
"I have been friends with the Capulets for many years and if they want to ruff it out with the Montagues so be it knowing them they probably have a good reason for doing so."
Well its nice to hear this from two different point of views, but what about the exploring this through the view of a Montague supporter. So Fernando what do you think of this matter.
"I am actually a Montagues third cousin twice removed, even thought we haven't met I feel like theres a family bond Although I don't like violence I like a good fight every now and then and if only they had finished so i could see who would have won.

Dawn Jurnal Entry #1
1.) I the beginning of the story Elie knew that he had to kill John Dawson an English man that is one of the many enemies, of the freedom fighters. In the background a baby is crying the entire time Elie is thinking. later on the group of freedom fighters are discussing how they all had escaped death. such as Joab who had pretend that he was mentally ill by making the english think that, he thought that he was dead. Iliana ran a freedom fighter radio show eventually the english figured out the the main area in which she was. but she had a head cold so her voice was different compare to the recorded radio shows they had so she got away without getting in trouble. And Gideon believes that god had saved his life, because when he was being tortured he wanted to shout out every thing that he knew and did but didn't because he felt looking upon him, eventually they had to let him go because he wasn't giving them anything. Elie has a flash back and is walking with Catherine and had told her a story about a young boy who prayed to god to save his ill dyeing father. it worked but the boy turned into a prayer and floated away. She later on another day asked him why he go around with the other boys and girls in camp. Elie replied "Because they speak a language I don't understand." she said that some of the girls speak german but he said that he didn't have anything to say to them. she smiled and said that all you have to do is love them. when Elie's last day came around he and Catherine they sat under the tree but he felt sad and lonely. She broke the silence by saying that they were going to make love. He became terrified she undressed and he became petrified but he to became un dressed as well but be fore they could do anything Elie wanted to say soothing but Catherine refused but he eventually said that he loved her and then embarrassed garbed his clothes and ran away.
2.) I predict that when dawn comes around and the execution has to take place Elie will end up begrudgingly killing the English man. and the rest of his life look at himself as a murder. find it hard to go on but will regret it every day for the rest of his life.
3.) I, in this situation would try and ponder ways of not having to go through with the execution. Later on I would probably have to except that i would have to kill this man i didn't even know. Because if i were not to kill John Dawson I would most likely be seen as a traitor and be given some kind of harsh punishment. Also the man would probably just be killed by someone else in the end.

Study Guide for Night
For the following characters list everything you know about them:
Elie: He is fifteen, but he said that he is eighteen to the angel of death to keep from being killed for being too young. He had two other siblings one sister and one brother.
Chlomo:
Moshe the Beadle:
He is Elie's friend and teaches. He teaches Elie about Kabala. He tried to warn everyone of the dangers to come, but no one listened and thought that everything was going to be alright.
Akiba Drumer: He was killed after the selection.
Madame Schachter: She screamed every night while on the train to the concentration camp that she saw a fire and a furnace.
Juliek: He played the violin in the Buna band and was upset that he was not allowed to play Beethoven because Beethoven was a German composer.
Joshef Mengele:
Idek: He was in charge of Elie's unit and was prone to crazy mood swings. Every once in awhile he beats people for no reason, except for the fact that he was angry.
Franek: He was a foreman, smart, and tried to take Elie's gold crown.
Zalman:
Stein: He is Elie's cousin and only cared about the welfare of his immediate family. When Elie lies and says they are all right he is nice and, frequently gave Elie and his father some of his ration.
Tzipora: She is the main characters sister she is seven but is most like dead for being to young we wouldn't know or not because they got split up at the concentration camp List at least three types of conflict and briefly discuss who the conflict is between:
1)
man vs. fate
man vs. fate
most of the jews including Elie are questioning there fate and why any god would do this to them.
2)
m man vs. society
Elie and the Nazi soldiers that have transferred him and almost all of his friends and family to a concentration camp/ crematory.
m man vs. society
Elie and the Nazi soldiers that have transferred him and almost all of his friends and family to a concentration camp/ crematory.
3) man vs. nature
All the Jews have sleeping shacks without floors with just muddy ground. the mud on there feet can dry out along with there feet making it easy for them to bleed giving the mud an opening for infection.
Name two foreshadows:
when Madame Schachter screamed that she saw fire every night while on the train to the concentration camp. but we later learn that the concentration camp there going to has a furnace where the burn the dead and the people not fit enough to work for them.
List and explain two symbols: The soup tasted different depending on how Elie felt, like when he saw a young boy slowly being killed the soup tasted like courpses.
List and explain two ironies: When they were in the ghettos they thought they were being evacuated for there own safty, but they were realy being taken to a concentration camp where they would work for free and the weak and rebellious would be killed.
Pick out two similes:
He whispered, and tears, like drops of wax, flowed from his eyes."
Pick out two metaphors:
“Our back yard had become a real market place.”
"The stars were only sparks of the fire which devoured us. Should that fire die out one day, there would be nothing left in the sky but dead stars, dead eyes."
List at least four settings:
The small abandoned Ghetto with food still on the table, such as a pie that never got put in the oven.
The box car they arrived in, to get to the concentration camp.
The small hospital where people didn’t last long because the germans don’t care about, sick jews.
Discuss how the dynamic character changes:
When Elie enters the camp, he fears for his life but now he doesn't want death, but he wouldn't care if it ended because he has already seen the worst.
